About Eileen Brogan
Hi, My name is Eileen Brogan
After working in the insurance industry for over 30 years, in 2016 I retired and took a giant leap of faith. I sold off most of my worldly goods, rented out my house in Connecticut and relocated to southwest Ireland ~ just me and my two rescue dogs. Yes, after ten visits to Ireland over 20 years, I moved to the home of my ancestors. I recently returned to Connecticut to experience retirement in America after nearly three years of living my dream.
Over the years, I earned a BA in English and an MA in Communications, but researching family history began 30 years ago when I took a class with a friend and tried my hand at my own family. I continue research my family as new facts and more records become available. Upon retiring, I began doing family histories for friends. I definitely found my niche; loving every minute of the research. In 2017, I decided to start a small business. In the first year I completed ten family histories and taught two workshops on the research process. With each project, I find new resources and learn what people really care about. Using this knowledge, I created a variety of family history packages for you to choose.
After an initial free assessment to ensure your family records are indeed available, we will work together to determine which package meets your level of curiosity and financial ability. While my specialty is certainly Irish genealogy, I have experience with American, Italian and German research as well.
